2020 might not be the best year in a lot of aspects but we at Enlite Research are thankful for some amazing opportunities that we came across this year.

Earlier in the year, one fine day scrolling yourstory I stumbled upon a link, clicking on it took me to a page which spoke of being a women specific tech mentorship program called QWEIN, now I don’t know whether it was the nature of the program that appealed to me (a women focused cohort, that too for tech mentorship in India! ) that sounded too lucrative or whether it was the parent organization conducting it made the whole proposition appealing.

The organization was Qualcomm! One of the biggest names in tech & innovation!

So without much thought and expectations I applied to the program. Few months passed and I’d almost forgotten about the application, on one otherwise uneventful Sunday night at 8pm I get a mail of acceptance into the program! And Enlite was amongst the 14 startups selected PAN India in this program!

What happened post that has been one of the most enriching experiences that I have been lucky to be a part of.

From the first induction day where the entire Global & India core team of Qualcomm participated, to getting the most coveted names assigned as mentors, it has been an amazing journey.

We got mentorship from the biggest names in the tech, VC & business, otherwise it’s not every day that you get a session conducted by Rajan Anandan! Or have the VP of engineering of Qualcomm a call away for your tech doubts! Oh and btw did I mention my rants on HR doubts were answered as well :) , not surprising to guess by the who’s and who of this amazing organization

Qualcomm for me was the university that students aspire for, to get the learning of not only education, but also life.

As I graduate from the QWEIN program, I have to say; having being a part of some partnerships in ecosystems and accelerators, Qualcomm has exceeded all expectations and set a new benchmark for what a program stands for. It has been more like reaching out to our family, friends and mentors for support and receiving the most genuine feedback and validation.

It was a wonderful set of 13 more entrepreneurs that I got to know, the brilliant work they were doing and the amazing companies they were building. Kudos to each and everyone of them!

Thanks for the most amazing opportunity Hemang, Swapna, Laxmi, Ajit for putting in so much sincere effort for making this program what it became and for making us your pupil for life!
